KILIAN JORNET BURGADA – REAL EXTREME!

There are not many true skyrunners in the world for 2019. This sport is not common for a huge audience of people. Its goal is to conquer mountain peaks and hills at a speed. That is, athletes in the literal sense of the word rise to a height in order to fix time in the future. Skyrunning involves precisely the speed of movement of a person on the ground. Kilian Jornet Burgada is a prominent representative of this sport.

DEBUT

It came at the beginning of 1999. It was then that Kilian first became acquainted with mountaineering. And the following year he became a participant in the race for the Spanish Cup La Molina. Even then, the young man showed himself from the very best side, eliminating a different opinion about the unpreparedness and lack of stamina. By the way, already in 2001 the first offers on professional sports followed.

2003 marked the participation in various competitions for the national team. Fruitful work allowed him to receive the title of elite athlete. Moreover, this was confirmed by both the Catalan Council and the Spanish. In 2004, the time comes for the first sports award. She stood out in the junior class for the entire ski mountaineering team. Kilian was able to distinguish himself here. The next two years became a confirmation of the existing title. The athlete was able to repeat and even improve his results.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Kilian Jornet Burgada himself calls such victories “the heights of my life.” Of the extraordinary and memorable, the conquest of high mountains is noted. Kilimanjaro took only 8 hours of life. The record was set back in 2010. They could beat him only after 4 years. And it’s not about professional mountaineering, but full-fledged skyrunning.

It was harder with Everest. 2017, the end of spring. No fixing ropes or extra oxygen. It took about 26 hours to climb. The start was in the base camp for all. For all the time only he managed to establish the absolute world championship.

Ascent to Elbrus was generally complicated by bad weather. But in December 2014, he managed to climb to Aconcagua in 13 hours. Of course, his result was beaten the next year. But for himself, the athlete himself accomplished this achievement. This was a repeat of the results from Mont Blanc. In 2012 and 2013, Kilian Jornet Burgada climbed there in just 9 hours. Moreover, it was a ski race with all the ensuing consequences.

RECEIVED MOVIES

A large audience constantly watches him in his profile of social networks and instagram. Therefore, Kilian releases four films in a row. The first was Summits of my life – A Fine Line (2012). He showed the life of an athlete from the inside. There, the audience saw the first coach and relatives. After the following films are released:

Summits of my life – Déjame Vivir (2014);
