In a long list of phobias, many of which nature has generously endowed with man, there is one called fear of heights. People subject to this scourge often use the expression “breathtaking”, even if they are separated from a hard surface by some ridiculous two meters. But nevertheless, one should pay tribute to justice – anyone will feel, to put it mildly, not comfortable when there is an abyss several hundred meters deep underfoot.
Anyone, but not Alain Robert, since this extreme is the steeper the height, the better and, therefore, there is work to do. They admire him, make fun of him, they simply do not understand him, but everyone, as one, agrees that Robert is an extraordinary personality, an athlete without fear and reproach, a player with Destiny and Fortune. People who have risen to riches, but do not consider themselves as such, always admire. David Goggins is one such prince. Runner, founder of a charity event, motivational speaker and writer.
David was born on February 17, 1975. On his own initiative, he applied to the Air Force. Prior to this, having failed the ASVAB test twice, but later he was taken to the Air Force tactical control detachment. After serving there for some time, he left this special unit to transfer to the Fur Seals squad. However, he weighed a little more than 135 kg, they certainly would not have been taken. After 3 months, he lost weight to 86 kg. After three attempts to join, he was accepted in 2001. There he was sent to fight in Iraq, after he fought in Afghanistan. In 2004, the Army assigned him the name “The Most Valiant Man.” When a helicopter crashed during Operation Red Wings in 2005, only he survived from the whole team. After that, he finally left the troops. However, he could not forget about his team, David decided to go running, thus transferring money to the charity “Organization of Special Operation Troops”.
