13,000 ft., according to Adventure's Brand paramotor's informational brochure. It's really a matter of proportion of wing to weight ratio again. More accurately a proportion of wing size (lift), motor size (thrust / climb rate), thermal lifts, Fuel size (time allowed to apply lift/thrust), pilot and motor weight, Pilot temperature tolerance, and of course oxygen at about 14,000 ft. - or lack there of! I myself have been up to 8,000 ft. & it's documented on video with wristwatch altimeter. Took me all of one hour of full throttle, and me at 175#, with 70-80 lbs. motor, under a tandem wing, to get that high. It was 48 degrees on watch thermometer. Dont forget wind chill at approx. 25 mph foreword. It was approx. 80 degrees sweaty tanning weather on the ground I launched from! Altimeter watch. Trying to show you 8060 ft. Wasn't close enough to camera & small alt. readout numbers on the Casio watch.
